Learning Outcome 4 (U3): Be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief. POST-PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES AND PROCESSES (U3:P5) FINAL FRONT COVER CODES AND CONVENTIONS/ STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES  My target audience are primarily women aged 18-40 within North London because of the mature nature of the masthead on the magazine. The front cover has been created to attract my target audience through the codes and conventions used, the coverlines of the front cover relate to the age demographic as it refers to panic and stress and how the magazine and the new indie film promoted can help ease that tension within life- this relates to the target audience because of the hardships of worklife therefore i wanted to be able to help relief them with the contents of the magazine. Learning Outcome 3(U3): Be able to create production materials for an original media product to a client brief CREATE PRODUCTION MATERIALS (U3:P4,M3) ASSET LOG FRONT COVER DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD THUMBNAIL PICTURES TAKEN FOR FRONT COVER LOCATION OF SHOOT CHOSEN PICTURE I chose this picture for the front cover because i think it captures the happiness within romantic comedy films, but also the mystery and sense of unknown embedded within love and seduction which parallels with the Masthead of the magazine. I also chose this picture because of the element of serenity and privacy which is a crucial part of relationships which is the main focus of rom-com films. Learning Outcome 2(U3): Be able to plan and develop pre-production materials for an original media product to a client brief  PLAN AND DEVELOP PRE-PRODUCTION MATERIALS (U3: P3,M2) MOODBOARD My moodboard conveys the themes of the magazine. There are hearts to explicitly show the genre of the magazine being romantic comedy as the hearts represent love. The moodboard features photos of happy couples and popular rom-com films to identify the atmosphere of the magazine through the energy of happiness and love. LAYOUTS This hand drawn sketch conveys the overall idea of what the front page will look like and roughly what it includes, the front page will be very visual and bold to catch the eye of the readers with enticing cover lines providing a brief explanations of the internal articles, streaming platforms and puff quote to be visual appealing to the readers.
